TentBox steals the show at Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Show 2023
This was to be our debut at camping and caravan’s biggest show at the NEC and we had two amazing new TentBox models to launch. We knew it was a big deal, but to say we were overwhelmed at the levels of interest, publicity and all-round positive vibes around us would be the understatement of the year.
We kicked off the show with the launch of our Lite XL, one of the most lightweight and versatile 4-person roof tents on the market. It literally stole the show. A steady stream of adventurers climbed up, jumped in, laid down and got seriously excited at the huge amount of space inside and the cracking new features that hold it all together. Lights, camera, action and Holly sells TentBox to the nation
In fact, there was so much buzz around the TentBox stand that it wasn’t long before the TV cameras rocked up and Josie Gibson, ITV’s This Morning presenter, climbed inside the Lite XL and sold it to the nation. Holly Willoughby was also smitten – a truly glowing endorsement we were all super stoked with.
You’d be forgiven for thinking it was the Lite XL show, but we were also at the show to launch the new Lite 2.0. Again a massive raft of new features made this a complete overhaul of our mega-popular model and at just 50kg and 133cm wide, its eye-catching position on top of the tiny Fiat Panda drew hundreds of visitors in and up to take a closer look. With the new Lite XL on the Land Rover, the Cargo on the Audi estate, the Classic on board the camper and the Lite 2.0 on the micro, we had every option covered and showed how easy, convenient and affordable TentBox life is for everyone.
The public loved what they saw, the press were all over us and we made some amazing contacts with potential partners keen to push TentBox in some seriously exciting new directions. We sold an amazing number of TentBoxes during the week – the Lite XL was by far our bestseller and the enquiries are still coming.
