Needed this for Easter bank holiday for a camping trip. Ended up getting hit by storm Dave. However my son and I still slept in just shorts. We were lovely and warm. Great bit of kit and fit perfectly with my model of Tentbox.
We recently took our TentBox Lite XL out for its first proper trip, and it has completely changed the game for us. The sheer size of the super-king mattress is incredible—it’s the first time we’ve been camping where we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other.A few things that really stood out:Cozy Vibes: We used the thermal inner for the first time, and it made such a difference. Even with a drop in temperature at night, we stayed perfectly warm and noticed way less condensation than our old ground tent. It makes the space feel really premium and snug.Teddy-Approved: The biggest win was how well our dog, Teddy, handled the setup. The telescopic ladders are sturdy and easy to adjust, which made it much simpler for us to help him up and down safely. He loved being high up with us and spent the whole night curled up on the memory foam mattress!Super Simple: Setup was about 5 minutes, which is a lifesaver when you just want to get the kettle on and relax.If you’re looking for a rooftop tent that actually fits a family (and the dog!), the Lite XL is worth every penny. We can’t wait for the next adventure!
The thermal kit really does make a difference the outside temp 2° and i was snug as a bug ❤️ my only criticism is that the clips can be a bit tricky when it comes to taking it down and also once up you loose the storage pockets and places to hang lights.
The thermal kit came in handy as it was a cold night the first time I used tent box. Works well, kept us warm.
Absolutely recommend, brilliant piece of kit. Complete upgrade and game changer for the colder months
Absolute game changer this is. You can tell the difference jut by putting you hand between the liner and the tent and notice straight away the temperature difference. So glad I bought it for the winter nights
