Torque Tool (T Shape)

This torque tool helps you install Summit roof bars correctly, ensuring bolts are tightened to the specified torque of 5 Nm.

Use it on any hex-socket (Allen) bolt on your Summit bars. Turn until you hear a clear click and the head deflects to a new angle, then stop. Always confirm the bars feel secure – this tool is an aid, not a substitute for a physical check.

Use during initial installation and for routine tightness checks.

We subsidise the cost of this tool to help ensure you install your bars safely — we highly recommend picking one up unless you already have an appropriate torque tool at home.

For Summit SURT bars only. This tool is for plain roofs, open rails and flush rail roof types.
