Introducing Club TentBox

We’ve just launched something new – Club TentBox – and we wanted to explain it properly.

Over the years, the TentBox community has grown into something much bigger than we ever expected. People meeting on campsites, spotting each other on the road, sharing trips – it’s been amazing to see.

Over the last 6 months, we’ve been working on something in the background to build on that.

Club TentBox is a platform for TentBoxers, and the idea is simple – to make it even easier to do more and get more out of your TentBox.

The main thing: TentBox campsites

This is the part we’re most excited about.

We’ve partnered with spaces across the UK to create TentBox Campsites – either:

• fully TentBox-only campsites 

• or campsites with dedicated TentBox areas. 

We’re starting with a small number of hand-picked sites, but we’ll be adding more all the time!

The idea is simple:

You can book a spot and know there’ll likely be other TentBoxers around.

We know a lot of you already arrange meetups or bump into each other – this just makes it easier to do that, anytime.

It’s the first time there are actual places you can go designed especially for the TentBox community.

Over time, we’ll keep improving these and expanding the network – and longer term, we’d love to create our own fully TentBox-owned campsite experience.

Straightforward pricing 

Most campsites are confusing with pricing, so we’ve gone for a flat nightly price which includes:

• your car and TentBox 

• an awning or gazebo 

• up to 4 people

• and your dog! 

That said – we’re always listening to your feedback and considering the best ways to make this work for you. With this in mind, we’ve introduced a solo occupancy discount, automatically applied at checkout. 

Club offers & extras

We’ve also started bringing in partner offers for TentBoxers. These are focused on things you can actually do on your TentBox trips – travel, experiences and places to stay.

A few examples live now:

• ferries & travel 

• leisure experiences (think Thorpe Park and Legoland)

• wild camping sites. 

And we’ll keep adding more over time!

• birthday rewards and other bits as we build this out. 

Road trip planner

We’ve also launched an AI road trip planner. It’s a bit of a trial – but it can generate some great trip ideas.

Treat it as inspiration and double-check the details, but it gives a good sense of where we’re heading with this.

What we’d love from you

The main thing now is just to start using it.

Book campsites. Arrange trips. Meet each other in real life. That’s the whole point of this. And it's completely free to join.
