Our Story
The first roof tent advocate
1929
Nino Cirani was an Italian photographer and adventurer, born in 1926. He was one of the first people to realise the epic potential of roof top tents.
A dream was born
2014
Whilst travelling around France, brother’s Ollie and Neill dreamed of bringing a high-quality roof top tent to the wider population.
Our first prototypes
2015
Our first prototypes arrived, and we were literally operating out of a garage!
Our first warehouse
2017
As TentBox started gaining momentum, we upscaled our operation which included opening our first warehouse.
2020
Another step up!
We launched our fantastic new Cargo and Lite models, a new website, and we moved to our first proper office space, dubbed TentBox HQ.
